Glass jars, common everyday objects.
Every home contains numerous glass jars acquired over time, not on their own merits but on the merits of the content they enclose, which we have chosen to buy.
Since they can be useful and are not totally undesirable we tend to keep them for a further use, although they often end up stored and stacked somewhere, waiting to serve and fulfill a purpose.
Food sauce, pickles jars and juice glass bottles may vary in shape and size but their lids will always remain a standard diameter. This upcycling project is about creating a collection of customized, functional lids that transform jars from their original function. Thereby gaining a new identity within a context of circularity.
